This 3 Minute Lemon-Lime Citrus Glaze is how I like to do sweets in the summer mostly because I’m a lazy cook and don’t like to hang in the kitchen during 90 degree weather. But even better than that is the amazing layer of flavor this glaze adds to just about any dessert. The zesty tang of lemons and limes glazed over a sweet cake is pure bliss. And on a lazy Sunday morning, it does wonders to a stack of fresh berry waffles.
Its pretty much the bomb on any food you choose. But two of my faves (besides a stack of decadent waffles) are when its drizzled over a warm sheet cake or a fresh loaf of homemade zucchini bread. That layer of tartness is the perfect compliment to a sweet dessert. Even better, it only takes three minutes to make.
